Very nice experience. Food, service and staff were great. We will be back next time we're in town.
AMAZING! Amazing service, food and atmosphere. I had the Mahi Mahi grilled and it was phenomenal!! So fresh, so delicious. Our waiter was so knowledgeable about wine and the menu. Chris was the assistant GM at the time, and he was the greatest, funniest person I've ever met. He came out multiple times to make sure we were Ok and I swear came out after that just to make us laugh. My boyfriend and I accidentally stayed until 9:30 (unknowingly they close at 9), but they were so polite and generous. 10/10 experience with the food and people!
The service and food here is top notch! This is one of my family's favorite restaurants in Clearwater. The atmosphere is also very pretty and classy. The prices are a little on the high end, so expect to pay $35+ for seafood entrees. I definitely recommend coming here if you want to eat high quality food. Also, makes sure you dress nice, as it's a nice restaurant. The dress code is more business casual.
We hit this place up for early dinner. They offer a full menu, and also a happy hour $20 menu. We did the $20 menu, and were not disappointed. The menu had several favorites, and included great sour dough bread with oil and herbs, a choice of House salad or Caesar salad, your entree choice and a side, followed by a small desert. The house salad was quite delicious with a citrus vinaigrette dressing. I had the seafood bake with the coconut almond rice. It had nice shrimp and scallops in a creamy sauce. My dad had filet with shrimp, my aunt and mom had the cedar plank salmon with wasabi potatoes. The desert was a chocolate and raspberry treat. None of us had any complaints.
My son wanted to dine at a waterfront restaurant for his 14th birthday! No available time for reservations on line the day before but when I called the restaurant, they were able to accommodate. Reservations at 7pm but we're seated 20 after. Didn't mind the wait since we took pics in the surrounding marina. When you walk in you're met with a nice aroma of a seafood/ steakhouse place. Started off with the seafood tower & oysters - highly recommend. Grilled octopus which we thought was too small for the price but tasted good! My husband had the surf & turf - delicious. My boys had the filet mignon. The caramelized Brussel sprouts, truffle Mac & cheese were delicious. Finished off with crème brûlée and the dessert sampler. Great service! And will definitely go there again!
Talk about a beautiful view and a lot of delicious food.... Most importantly, plan ahead and make a reservation because the locals flock to Island Way Grill when it opens at 10am for brunch on Sundays and the lines were out the door. Brunch comes with a mimosa or screwdriver and then you can purchase more. Our server was so attentive and friendly, we just loved her. There is an oyster bar, and two different meat carving stations, an omelet station, hot foods, cold foods, salads, fruits, and little dishes that you can ask to be brought out from the kitchen like avocado toast. It was all delicious. I especially loved the chicken tenders (not your usual ones but amazing). We sat right next to the water so bring your sunglasses but the view was so dang pretty. This is a fantastic brunch spot!
I was excited to dine here again for lunch as I've had awesome experiences in the past for this restaurant. As soon as we walked in the door, we were hit with such a blast of cold air, we decided to eat outside. After being escorted to our table, we sat there for at least 15 minutes before I decided to go inside and ask for service. They were at least two waiters outside, and neither one of them said hello or will be right back. We were totally ignored. Once inside, I approached two workers, who very nervously asked how long we had been sitting there, and I said no less than 15 minutes possibly 20. They then got a manager and escorted us back to our table. I saw the manager talking to the two waiters who ignored us the entire time and then came back over and said I'm going to bring Deborah or Debbie out to wait on you and she will give you excellent service. That is exactly what happened Deborah or Debbie I'm sorry I can't remember what she was, was fantastic and turned a potential disaster into a positive dining experience. This is the only reason why I'm giving this place four stars, just the service blunder. Now onto the food. They have an early bird menu that is very affordable and includes bread, salad, your entrée and dessert. I had so many options to choose from. Had a very difficult time doing so, but finally settled on the blackened grouper sandwich. My friend had the chicken Alfredo and my other friend had a chicken sandwich minus the bun. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of their food, but by the time we got our lunch, we were starving as you can imagine. I definitely recommend this place and I've had nothing bad here. Again, thank you, Debbie Deborah for saving the day.
So many choices for food and beautiful outdoor area. The restaurant is wonderfully open and spacious. The outside part of the restaurant has a great view of the harbor and it's right next to the aquarium. The dinner I got was amazing as it was a bit soupy with rice, shrimp, scallops, and sea bass. The dish wasn't as spicy as I had hoped since I like spice but it was very filling. There were so many menu choices especially including all the specials of the night. The hostess and waiter were so accommodating and helpful in the choice I made for my meal.
